Patrick Deegan is currently a PhD candidate in Art History at UCSD, with emphasis in new media theory and East Asian Studies. He received his BA in 1997 from the University of Iowa, School of Religion, just after completing training at the ADF modern dance space at Duke University. Following a three year stint flirting with the California legislative engine as a corporate floozy, he returned to academics in 2000 and received a Masters degree in Art History from the University of California at Riverside in 2002.
